Synopsis
The Kidnapping Day (유괴의 날, 2023) is a South Korean crime comedy series you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Park Yoo-young. A desperate father carries out a kidnapping, badly. His target turns out to be a child prodigy who has the situation assessed before he finishes talking.
Yoon Gye-sang plays the hapless kidnapper whose plan disintegrates in the opening scene and never really recovers. The girl has him outmanoeuvred at every turn, and the comedy is built entirely on that gap — his escalating confusion against her unflappable calm.
