Synopsis
Pennsylvania (2016) is a Russian crime detective series you can watch online on iFILM. A sleepy town in the country's heartland is shaken by a chain of crimes: a child vanishes, and he turns out to be the son of a well-known Moscow TV reporter.
A week passes and the local police have nothing — no boy, no answer about the nanny found murdered, no lead on who gunned down a patrol officer. The desperate father pulls strings, and the capital sends a three-person unit into the provinces: prosecutor's investigator Morozov, field operative Sergeev, and forensic expert Dvornikova. Two days and they're home, or so they assume. It doesn't go that way.
Konstantin Kryukov, Igor Vernik, Alexander Domogarov, Anna Kazyuchits and Evgenia Dmitrieva headline a cast whose characters slowly realize the assignment is rewriting their lives. The town guards buried secrets that someone has already killed to protect. What sets the show apart is how the solution lands on the investigators themselves, not just the case file.
