Synopsis
Shvabra (2019) is a Ukrainian detective drama series you can watch online on iFILM, starring Aleksandra Rebenok as Anna Nikolaevna — a maths teacher who ends up solving crimes alongside police captain Vershinin. Directed by Taras Dudar.
Vershinin has years of fieldwork behind him and a deep scepticism toward anything that sounds like a formula. Anna Nikolaevna has exactly the opposite: blackboards full of equations and very little patience for gut instinct. Together they work through cases where standard forensics hits a wall — her statistical models and pattern recognition filling the gaps his experience can't. Lieutenant Goncharenko and forensic expert Katya round out the team.
