Synopsis
The Legend of Heroes (2024) is a Chinese wuxia action epic you can watch online on iFILM. In the late Southern Song, Jin armies tear at the border while ministers at court sell their loyalty by the day. Caught in that collapse, the heads of two close families — Guo Xiaotian and Yang Tiexin — are killed before their children ever get the chance to grow up together.
The debt passes to the Taoist master Qiu Chuji, who, alongside the Seven Freaks of Jiangnan, swears to track down the orphaned heirs and forge them into fighters. Two boys grow from the same wound into opposite men: the plain, stubborn Guo Jing and the turncoat Yang Kang. The thread between Guo Jing and the quick-witted Huang Rong runs through wars, rival sects and betrayals, and it keeps the sprawling saga anchored to something human.
The series adapts Jin Yong's The Legend of the Condor Heroes, the cornerstone novel of the whole wuxia genre that generations of filmmakers have reworked.
