The man at the wheel is Alexei Turbin. By day he drives a taxi wired with hidden gear, and on the side he runs his own investigation, closing in on a gang that has the city in its grip. His colleagues call him a magnet for trouble — wherever he parks, there's a shootout, a chase or a body soon after. The twist is that this knack for landing in the thick of it is exactly what lets the former patrolman, now armed with a detective's authority, crack the cases nobody else can.

The taxi format does real work here: every passenger is a fresh hook, and the city rolls by through the windshield with no gloss on it. Dmitry Vlaskin anchors the lead, backed by Kirill Grebenshchikov and Viktoriya Maslova. The 18+ rating is honest — the fights and gunplay don't hold back.
