Synopsis
Klim (2016), a Russian detective drama from director Karen Oganesyan, is available to watch online on iFILM. Before joining the police, Klim Roshchin was an ethologist who studied wolves and even lived inside a pack. Now he hunts people with an animal's instinct.
On principle, Klim never carries a gun. His toolkit is deduction, intuition, the provocative interrogation, and a read on animal behavior that he maps straight onto humans — who leads the group, who's the weak link, who is about to break. He scents fear and decodes body language faster than his colleagues can open a file. The trouble is his sense of justice, which has no gray zones. By exposing every guilty party, he keeps losing the people who matter to him. Konstantin Lavronenko is worth the watch here, playing a near-silent man whose instinct speaks louder than words.
The series takes the familiar lone-detective formula and twists one dial: biology in place of forensics. If standard cops with pistols have worn thin for you, this cold analyst with wolf logic is the hook. Stream Klim (2016) online on iFILM.
