Synopsis
Movie 43 (2013) is the notorious anthology comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Fifteen short sketches, a dozen directors, and a cast list so stacked it almost reads like a prank.
The thread holding it together: a deranged screenwriter keeps pitching a producer one insane idea after another, and each pitch plays out as its own skit. Hugh Jackman shows up to a date hiding a very unfortunate anatomical detail. Kate Winslet stares across the table in horror. Uma Thurman, Naomi Watts, Emma Stone, Richard Gere, Chris Pratt, Anna Faris and Kristen Bell all pile in for gags that race past good taste and keep going. The directors include Peter Farrelly, Elizabeth Banks, Brett Ratner and James Gunn.
