"Kremen" (2012) is a Russian action-crime series you can watch online on iFILM. An ex-special forces soldier nicknamed Shaman drives to a provincial town to see an old army comrade — and walks straight into someone else's fight. His only weapon is a combat knife. It is enough.

Shaman isn't looking for trouble, but the town has plenty to offer: local criminal crews, a police force with convenient blind spots, and a community that has learned to keep quiet. He wants the guilty alive and answering for what they've done. That principle costs him. Director and lead actor Vladimir Yepifantsev plays Shaman himself — and the series moves like a man who doesn't slow down.
