Synopsis
Fern Flower (2015) is a Russian mystery series you can watch online on iFILM. The village of Gluschevka is that kind of place: compasses spin for no reason, water runs uphill, and the locals have long believed a hidden treasure is buried somewhere in the surrounding forest. Geologist Tim (Alexander Tsurkan) arrives to study the anomalies with a rational toolkit.
The same night, two young women head into the forest on separate business: Tonya, a village girl on the eve of her wedding, and Ira, a restless city student, are both hunting the legendary fern flower — said to bloom just once a year and grant any wish. What they find instead is Tim, wounded and clearly having visited somewhere he should not have. The cast includes Ada Rogovtseva and Alyona Yakovleva; directed by Sergey Lyalin.
