Wunschpunsch (2001) is an animated series you can watch online on iFILM, based on Michael Ende's 1989 novel. Two incompetent evil sorcerers — the paunchy Bubonic and his aunt Tyrannia — have signed a deal with dark forces: curse the city of Megalopolis on schedule, or pay dearly.

The trouble is that every spell has to be brewed and completed within seven hours, and the pair keep wrecking it themselves in spectacular fashion. What they never suspect is that their beloved pets — cat Maurizio and raven Jakob — are undercover operatives for the Animal Council, placed there specifically to make sure each curse misfires.
