Synopsis
The Truth Will Out (Det som göms i snö, 2018) is a Swedish crime series you can watch online on iFILM. Detective Peter Wendel (Robert Gustafsson) is back on the job after a long psychiatric stay, handed a team of misfits and a stack of cold-case murder files. His first problem: Sweden's most notorious convicted serial killer claims he's innocent. His second problem: that claim might be true.
The investigation pulls Wendel toward corridors of power that would rather the files stayed cold — while his own mental state keeps sliding. Director Kristian Petri doesn't play this for Scandinavian gloom alone; there's a dry, uncomfortable humor in watching a man barely holding himself together while reopening cases that undid him the first time.
