Synopsis
"Between Us Girls: Continuation" (2018) is a Russian family comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. The story follows three women of the Kuznetsova-Saiko household sharing a flat in the provincial town of Tetyushevo: 21-year-old art student Olesya, her mother Elena who manages supplies for a construction firm, and grandmother Iraida Stepanovna, a performer of romances at the local philharmonic. Each of them has spent years without a man in her life — and not entirely by accident.
That arrangement is upended when Olesya brings home her boyfriend Nikita and announces they will all be living together. Elena is not pleased. She begins making Nikita's days quietly difficult in the way only a determined Russian mother can manage. Starring Yulia Menshova, Galina Petrova, Natalya Skomorokhova, and Valery Garkalin, the series is warm-hearted Russian comedy at its most domestic — generational friction played for laughs rather than tears.
