Synopsis
The Brightest Star in the Sky (夜空中最闪亮的星, 2019) is a Chinese romantic comedy about the music industry you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Liu Yizhi. It pairs a determined newcomer manager with an idol who treats his own talent as an inconvenience.
Yang Zhenzhen (Jelly Lin) wanted to be a singer, never quite made it, and ends up as a junior assistant at Star Entertainment. Her assigned talent is Zheng Boxu (Z.Tao) — popular, arrogant, and coasting on looks. What neither expects is that pushing him to actually work will also reshape her own sense of where she belongs.
