Synopsis
The Fabulous Five (2019) is a Russian crime drama series available to watch online on iFILM. St. Petersburg's Petrovsky District homicide unit runs on five detectives: Major Shaposhnikov, Captains Krasavchenko and Bubnov, Senior Lieutenant Vetrov, and Lieutenant Kuzmin. Lieutenant Colonel Golovanov pulled them together — a commander with a long institutional memory and a dry sense of humour about the city he has been policing for decades.
Starring Pavel Grigoryev, Andrei Gorbachev, and Alexei Krasnotsvetov, the show is less focused on individual cases than on what working them does to people over time — the arguments, the covering for each other, and the specific weight of spending every shift with somebody else's death.
