Synopsis
Vezukha! (2010) is a Russian animated series you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Elizaveta Skvortsova. The Zimin family — dad, mum, grandma, a boy named Timofei, and a dachshund called Kit — could almost pass for normal.
Almost. Dad holds long earnest conversations with a cactus. Mum plays music on a handsaw. Timofei becomes a superhero when the occasion demands it. Kit the dachshund has a fish's tail. Otherwise the household runs as expected: work, school runs, minor domestic disasters. The catch is that in this family, minor disasters are never quite minor by the time they resolve.
