Host Terry Crews randomly selects over 50 of the 100 home cooks to compete in five challenges, such as best noodle dish, rotisserie chicken battle, and a blind taste test. Judges Alex Guarnaschelli and Nick DiGiovanni decide which cooks are going home

The competitors face off in a taco night throwdown and make their best cheesy dish for judges Alex Guarnaschelli and Nick DiGiovanni. Four cooks will be headed home.
