Synopsis

The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961), Season 2 brings thirty-two episodes you can watch online on iFILM, arriving in 1962 with the cast fully at ease.

Rob still splits his week between the writers' room and the house in New Rochelle. The office keeps inventing fresh deadline panic, Buddy and Sally sharpen their needling, and Mel Cooley stays everyone's favorite target. At home, Laura drives more of the plots now rather than waiting inside them, and her storylines grow noticeably. Episodes lean on a single small misunderstanding pushed as far as it will go.

Under Carl Reiner the season trades easy office gags for comedy that comes from character. The real pleasure is the timing — watch how long Van Dyke and Moore let a pause hang. Stream The Dick Van Dyke Show Season 2 online on iFILM.
