Mermaid (2026) turns a Florida Man meme into an uneasy black comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Dag, jobless and hooked on Percocet, hits rock bottom on a beach — and stumbles onto an actual wounded mermaid.

He drags her home and tries to nurse her back to health. Care curdles into obsession fast: he starts hiding her from neighbors, from the cops, from anyone who might ask questions. Once word about his secret gets out, Dag will do almost anything to keep her hidden.

Director Tyler Cornack casts recognizable character actors — Kevin Nealon, Tom Arnold, Robert Patrick — around a story that plays more like a fever dream than a fairy tale. It's grimy, funny in an uncomfortable way, and squarely for viewers who like their fantasy soaked in swamp water rather than glitter. Mermaid is streaming now on iFILM.
