Synopsis
Gentle Monster (2026) is a drama you can watch online on iFILM right now, built around Léa Seydoux as a celebrated concert pianist. Catherine Deneuve shares the frame in one of the key roles, and Marie Kreutzer, the director behind Corsage, is back in the chair.
The pianist walks away from the concert circuit and moves her family out to the countryside, chasing quiet. What she finds instead is a fact that undoes everything she thought she knew about her marriage. Jella Haase, Laurence Rupp and Sylvester Groth round out a cast that plays the fallout as a slow unraveling rather than a twist reveal.
An Austria-Germany-France-Sweden-Singapore co-production, it leans on long silences and faces that give away more than the dialogue does — the same patience Kreutzer showed with Vicky Krieps in Corsage. Gentle Monster is streaming on iFILM for anyone who'd rather watch a marriage come apart than a plot twist land.
