Synopsis
Barbie and the Secret Door (2014) is an animated family movie from Mattel Entertainment — watch it online on iFILM. Director Karen J. Lloyd tells the story of Princess Alexa, a bookworm royal who would rather curl up with a fairy tale than sit through yet another royal ceremony. Then she finds an old door hidden in the palace garden, one that matches a passage straight out of her favourite storybook.
On the other side waits a world of mermaids, fairies, and creatures she has only read about. Alexa meets Romy the mermaid and Nori the fairy, who need help fast: a spoiled young ruler is hoarding every drop of magic in the land. Alexa has to find the courage she never knew she had — the only way out is through.
