Vigil (2021), Season 1 is a six-episode British crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM, opening when a crew member turns up dead aboard the nuclear submarine HMS Vigil and DCI Amy Silva is flown out to find out why.
The case runs on two tracks at once. Silva is sealed inside the boat, surrounded by sailors who may all be hiding something, while ashore her colleague Kirsten Longacre digs through Scottish politics and stumbles onto a navy cover-up. The deeper the sub dives, the clearer it gets that one death points to a threat far bigger than the men around it. Almost nobody can be trusted.
