Synopsis
The Hurricane Heist (2018) is Rob Cohen's crime action film you can watch online on iFILM. A crew of thieves targets 600 million dollars sitting in a U.S. Treasury facility, using an incoming superstorm as cover for the job.
The logic is simple: while the coast braces for disaster, nobody will notice the money walking out the door. Then the hurricane spins up to a lethal Category 5, and the flawless plan starts coming apart. Standing in the way are Will, a meteorologist who has feared storms since his father died in one, and Treasury agent Casey Corbyn. Toby Kebbell plays the storm expert, Maggie Grace the armed agent, and Ryan Kwanten a brother dragged into the fight.
Cohen, the director behind The Fast and the Furious and xXx, delivers exactly what the title promises: chases past airborne trucks, shootouts in the eye of the storm, and 102 minutes of loud, knowingly silly spectacle.
