What's new here is the timing. By this run the team plays confidently with length: there are tiny one-minute sketches and fuller episodes that stack two or three gags back to back. Bugs and Elmer keep up their endless hunt, the Road Runner stays a blur ahead of the Coyote, and Sylvester chases Tweety into yet another dead end. The season doesn't try to grow up. It holds the same childlike silliness the whole show is built on.
