Synopsis
Wu-Tang: An American Saga (2019), Season 1 — watch online on iFILM. Ten episodes trace how a fractured Staten Island block turned into one of music's most improbable success stories, and it opens, literally, with a bang.
New York in the early nineties, deep in the crack era. Bobby Diggs — the man who would become The RZA — hears a sound nobody around him can picture yet. The neighborhood is split. Old friends end up on opposite sides, and the loss of someone close sends Dennis into a tailspin. Across the season the future supergroup comes together one person at a time: a hustle here, a stretch inside there, a brother trying to find his way back home. By the final episodes a mysterious tape starts circulating through the city, and people begin asking who this crew really is.
