The Institute (2025), Season 1 — eight-episode sci-fi thriller based on Stephen King's 2019 novel, watch online on iFILM. Fourteen-year-old math prodigy Luke Ellis wakes up inside a locked facility in the woods; his parents are gone, and no one outside knows where he is.
The place is full of teenagers — all taken the same way, all with psychic abilities. Telekinesis, telepathy, things Ms. Sigsby's staff catalogues and extracts in experiments the kids have no way to refuse. Luke finds an ally in Avery, who reads minds, and starts working toward escape. Meanwhile, in the nearest town, former cop Tim Jamieson begins pulling at threads that lead straight back to The Institute.
