Synopsis

Courtney B. Vance brings real weight to the father, a man who built his whole world around one kitchen and simply cannot see why his son wants to walk away from it. Elijah doesn't want to walk away — he wants both. That gap between parental love and parental expectation is where the film lives, and it handles it without making either side the villain.
