Once every fifty years, the island of Houraijima rises out of the mist — and so do its rulers, the four godlike Shitoushin. They survive by hunting the half-demon children trapped there, claiming one each time the island returns. All of the kids carry burning scars except a single girl, and she's the only one who can slip past the seal to beg for help. Outside, she runs straight into Inuyasha and his companions. Even Sesshomaru, the half-brother Inuyasha trusts least, is pulled into the fight against the gods.

This fourth and final Inuyasha movie reunites the core crew — Kagome, Miroku, Sango and Shippo — in a standalone story that doesn't ask you to track every TV arc first.
