Synopsis

This time the action spills out of one barricaded house and into the open streets. Sergeant Leo (Frank Grillo) heads out armed and alone, planning to kill the man responsible for his son's death. Then he runs into four strangers caught outside as the siren sounds: a waitress, her teenage daughter, and a young couple whose car dies at the worst possible moment. Leo never wanted passengers. Survival makes him their reluctant protector.
DeMonaco trades the home-invasion setup of the first film for armed gangs, machine-gun trucks, and wealthy hunters who treat the night as sport. Underneath the survival plot sits a blunt argument about class and who gets to live. Carmen Ejogo, Zach Gilford, and Michael Kenneth Williams round out the cast.
