Polar

Polar (2019) is a Netflix action thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Duncan Vizla, the world's deadliest hitman known as the Black Kaiser, is two weeks from retirement. His employer, it turns out, would rather bury him than pay out.

To dodge a massive pension, Duncan's boss sends a squad of young, gleefully sadistic killers after him. Mads Mikkelsen plays the aging professional holed up in a snowbound town, slowly warming to his guarded neighbor Camille. Then the hunters arrive. The old instincts come back fast, and the body count climbs.

Director Jonas Åkerlund, once the music-video eye behind Madonna and Rammstein, adapts Victor Santos's Dark Horse graphic novel into a loud, neon-soaked bloodbath built on jagged cuts and cartoon brutality.
