Synopsis
The Peanut Butter Falcon (2019) is a drama-adventure starring Shia LaBeouf that you can watch online on iFILM. A young man with Down syndrome breaks out of his nursing home to chase a dream of becoming a wrestler.
Zak wants to reach the backwoods wrestling school of his hero somewhere in rural North Carolina. Along the way he latches onto Tyler, a broke crab poacher running from trouble of his own. The two drift down rivers and inlets on a homemade raft while Eleanor, the care worker sent to bring Zak back, keeps closing in. Zak is played by Zack Gottsagen, who has Down syndrome himself; Dakota Johnson plays Eleanor.
Tyler Nilson and Mike Schwartz wrote the part specifically for Gottsagen and shot a Huck Finn-style road movie across coastal swamps, campfires, and salt air.
