Synopsis
Feel Good (2020), Season 1 — a British tragicomedy you can watch online on iFILM, six episodes drawn from comedian Mae Martin's own life about the kind of love that heals and wrecks you at once.
Mae is a Canadian stand-up in recovery, living in London and prone to falling hard. At a gig she meets George, who has only ever dated men, and the two tumble into a romance that moves far too fast. From there the season quietly takes the relationship apart: George won't tell her friends she's seeing a woman, Mae swaps one addiction for another, and the rush of new love starts to feel exactly like the high she's trying to quit. Six tight episodes carry the couple from giddy to rock bottom.
Channel 4 and Netflix pulled off something rare — a comedy that's funny and raw in the same breath. Lisa Kudrow turns up as Mae's mother. One for viewers who want an honest look at codependency with no sugar-coating. Stream Feel Good Season 1 online on iFILM.
