Synopsis

Evan Peters plays Bahadur opposite Barkhad Abdi as his local fixer, with Al Pacino and Melanie Griffith rounding out the cast. What Bahadur finds in the camps is not the cartoon villainy of the headlines — it is young men with no income, no coastline left to fish, and no way out. The film follows his 2008–2009 reporting trip to the letter, reconstructing a story that Bahadur later turned into a published book of investigative journalism.
