Synopsis

BEASTARS (2019) is an anime series you can watch online on iFILM. In a world where predators and prey share the same classrooms, a towering grey wolf named Legoshi keeps his head down — until a student is found mauled to death at Cherryton Academy.

Legoshi is huge and strong, yet terrified of his own fangs. He falls for Haru, a tiny white rabbit, and every moment near her tests whether instinct or restraint wins out. Meanwhile fear spreads through the school after the killing, and the vain deer Louis fights to claim the title of Beastar, the highest honor in this society. It's a coming-of-age drama wired into a murder mystery, class tension and repressed desire.

Produced by Studio Orange from Paru Itagaki's manga, the show is built in lush CG animation that's rare for the medium. The first season aired in 2019 and was followed by two more. Stream BEASTARS online on iFILM.
