Synopsis
Someone Great (2019) is a romantic comedy-drama you can watch online on iFILM. Jenny lands a music-journalism gig in San Francisco, and on the same week her boyfriend of nine years decides he isn't coming with her.
One day left before the move. Instead of falling apart quietly, Jenny (Gina Rodriguez) drags her two closest friends, Blair and Erin, into a wild farewell run through New York. Festival tickets they can't really afford, a stranger's party, a drunk 3 a.m. voicemail to the ex. The jokes keep landing, but underneath the night is a harder goodbye: a friendship about to stretch across a whole country.
Director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson makes the breakup almost a side plot. The real ache here is between the women, and that's what gives the film its honesty.
