Synopsis

His guardian, Judge Claude Frollo, has spent years convincing him the streets are cruel and that a deformed man belongs out of sight. What follows is a tale of friendship, prejudice and the price of kindness. Tom Hulce, Demi Moore and Kevin Kline voice the leads.
Based on Victor Hugo's novel, the film softens the book's grim ending into something brighter. Directors Kirk Wise and Gary Trousdale, the duo behind Beauty and the Beast, paired the dark source material with soaring choral hymns and a thundering organ score.
