The Faraway Paladin (最果てのパラディン, 2021) is a Japanese fantasy anime series to watch online on iFILM. Will has no human neighbours — only Blood, a skeleton warrior; Mary, a mummified priestess; and Gus, a ghost sorcerer who taught him magic. The three raised him in an abandoned city with no other living souls.

As Will grows older, questions surface. What happened here? Who were these three before they died? The series, adapted from Kanata Yanagino's light novels, earns its slower pace — it's more interested in the bonds between a child and the people who chose to love him than in dungeon fights.
