TSUKIMICHI -Moonlit Fantasy- (2021) is a Japanese isekai fantasy anime series — watch all episodes online on iFILM. High schooler Makoto Misumi gets summoned to another world as a hero, but the goddess takes one look at him and decides he's too ugly for the job. She strips his title and dumps him at the absolute edge of the world, as far from civilization as possible.

Out in those badlands, Makoto finds orcs, dwarves, intelligent giant spiders, and dragons — none of them human, all of them willing to hear him out. It turns out the power the goddess tried to suppress in him is considerably larger than what any official hero carries around. Voice actors Natsuki Hanae, Ayane Sakura, and Akari Kito lead the cast.

The joke the show keeps running with is that Makoto is genuinely overpowered and genuinely out of his depth at the same time. He's not a chosen savior building a kingdom — he's an exile trying to be polite enough that his new monster companions don't turn on him.
