Synopsis
The Plague (2025) is a drama-thriller from director Charlie Polinger — watch it online on iFILM. Twelve-year-old Ben arrives at a water polo summer camp and quickly learns the unwritten rule: stay away from Eli, a kid with acne, or risk catching the so-called plague. Touch him and you scrub yourself off in front of everyone.
Ben (Everett Blunck) wants to fit in. Eli (Kenny Rasmussen) takes the hits every day. The gap between going along with the crowd and doing the right thing gets harder to straddle with each passing week. Joel Edgerton plays the camp coach known as Daddy Wags, who keeps his eyes conveniently elsewhere. Produced by Spooky Pictures and Image Nation Abu Dhabi, the film runs 98 minutes.
