Prasutagus is dead. Rome seizes Iceni territory and recognizes no female heir; the legions handle the widowed queen without restraint. Rather than accept the loss, Boudica rides to the neighboring tribes and makes a single case: one enemy, many swords. Kurylenko plays the character without a grief spiral — this Boudica calculates, which makes her considerably more unsettling than a straightforward avenger.
