Synopsis

When the charming and penniless Morris Townsend starts calling, her father wages a quiet campaign to prove the man is only after her inheritance — while Catherine is left suspended between a man who may genuinely love her and a father who openly doubts she is worth loving. Holland keeps the period surfaces elegant and the damage underneath very cold.
