Synopsis
My Little Pony: The Movie (2017) is an animated feature from Canada and the US that you can watch online on iFILM. Director Jayson Thiessen moved the beloved TV cast onto a cinema-scale canvas: Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Rarity face a threat big enough to need the whole group. The Storm King seizes Canterlot and cuts off the ponies' magic. The Mane Six travel beyond Equestria — through pirate ships, ocean kingdoms and unfamiliar territory — to recover their power before everything they know is gone. It is squarely aimed at fans of the show, but the animation gets a genuine theatrical upgrade and the pacing is tight enough for a family afternoon.
