Synopsis
The Arctic Convoy (Konvoi, 2023) is a Norwegian war drama you can watch online on iFILM. Winter 1942: thirty-five civilian ships sail from Iceland toward Murmansk, hauling the supplies the Soviet front cannot survive without. The men at the helm aren't soldiers. They're fishermen and merchant crews handed a route no one expected them to outlive.
Director Henrik Martin Dahlsbakken keeps the camera close to the deck. German U-boats and aircraft track the convoy across open Arctic water, and a catastrophic intelligence failure strips away most of the escort. Tobias Santelmann and Anders Baasmo Christiansen lead a crew learning to fight as they go — putting out fires, pulling each other from freezing seas, counting how many ships are still afloat.
