Two polite strangers roll into town, and the courtesy hides a hunt for creatures like Mitchell and George. Mitchell, still trying to quit blood, ends up in the crosshairs again, and his trust in a new acquaintance named Lucy turns into the season's cruelest mistake. George clings to a normal life: a job, a girlfriend in Sam, a cage to ride out the full moon safely. Annie, now visible to the living, plays matchmaker and ends up minding a ghost baby. By the finale it all narrows to a hidden group running experiments on the supernatural, and the friends have to pull each other out.
