Season 2
You don’t know the whole story.
Synopsis
American Crime Story (2016), Season 2 — watch online on iFILM, nine episodes tracing the 1997 murder of Gianni Versace by serial killer Andrew Cunanan. The killing happened on a Tuesday morning in Miami Beach. Five people died before Cunanan reached Versace's door.
The season divides its time between two men who barely knew each other. Versace built an empire from instinct and ambition, then spent years guarding a private life the world kept trying to expose. Cunanan performed a different identity every year of his adult life — charming, plausible, completely hollow. Episodes move back and forward through both timelines, making the crime feel less like a mystery and more like a slow-motion collapse no one stopped in time.
Edgar Ramirez and Darren Criss share almost no screen time, but the contrast between them is the season's whole argument. Penelope Cruz, Ricky Martin, and Sarah Paulson fill out the real figures around them. Stream American Crime Story Season 2 online on iFILM.
