Synopsis

Keene is looking at ten years, federal sentence. An agent offers a way out: transfer to a maximum-security psychiatric prison, get close to Larry Hall — suspected in the disappearances of multiple women — and walk free if Hall confesses. Six episodes, no procedural padding. What the show is actually after is a harder question: whether Jimmy can read Larry at all — is Hall a confessing murderer, a delusional fantasist, or something that resists both labels? Taron Egerton plays Keene with coiled practicality; Paul Walter Hauser makes Hall genuinely unreadable.
