Synopsis
BoJack Horseman Season 1 — twelve episodes, animated drama, Netflix 2014 — is here to watch online on iFILM. BoJack used to be the star of a hit '90s sitcom called Horsin' Around. He is not that anymore.
Now he rattles around a Hollywood mansion, drinks too much, and needs a memoir to remind people he exists. He hires Diane Nguyen to write it for him — and gets someone who turns out to be inconveniently perceptive. Meanwhile Todd's trying to stage a rock opera (BoJack quietly sabotages it), Princess Carolyn's agency is sinking, Mr. Peanutbutter gets engaged to Diane, and a trip to see a dying old friend drags up everything BoJack has spent years burying. The Hollywood satire is sharp. What makes the first season stick is how precisely it diagnoses someone who ruins every good thing they touch.
