Synopsis

In this timeline, their father chose a different family — the Sparrow Academy, seven equally powered strangers who are hostile, coordinated, and not inclined to share. Worse timing: something called a Kugelblitz has started eating the city from the inside out, and the trail leads back to the Umbrellas themselves. Luther falls for Sloane, the one Sparrow willing to have a real conversation. Viktor finally learns what happened to both academies' mothers. Klaus discovers his connection to death is weirder than he assumed.
Reginald has known more than anyone from the start, and the Hotel Oblivion is the anchor of his private plan. Both families have to stop fighting each other long enough to face a shared extinction.
