Every decision is life or death.
Synopsis
Fear the Walking Dead (2015), Season 1 — 6 episodes, watch online on iFILM. The AMC spin-off from The Walking Dead asks the question the original never answered: what did Los Angeles look like on day one?
School guidance counselor Madison Clark lives with her partner Travis and her kids — Nick, a young man losing his fight with heroin, and Alicia, who has her future already mapped. When Nick staggers out of a drug den with a story no one believes, Madison chalks it up to withdrawal. News reports mention a spreading virus. The city feels wrong. The National Guard cordons off their neighborhood and calls it protection. These six episodes cover exactly those transitional days — when denial was still a rational position and civilization was one step from the edge without knowing it. Operation Cobalt, when it comes, will make everything clear.
Season 1 is deliberately unhurried. It is more interested in family fractures and social collapse than in zombie fights — which will frustrate some viewers and be the whole point for others. Watch Fear the Walking Dead Season 1 online on iFILM.
