Crazy/Beautiful

Crazy/Beautiful (2001) is an American teen romance directed by John Stockwell — watch it online on iFILM. They meet at school. Every adult in their lives tells them this is a mistake. The film's best move is refusing to make Nicole simply troubled or simply charming — Dunst plays someone genuinely hard to be around, and Hernandez gives Carlos a quiet steadiness that keeps the film from tipping into sentiment.
