Synopsis

James finds footage online he's convinced shows his sister — missing in the Black Hills Forest since he was a child. He pulls together a group, loads up with GPS earpieces, drones, and point-of-view cameras, and heads into the same woods. The forest doesn't care about the equipment. Two locals offer to guide them in; they become part of the problem. Wingard builds the dread by stretching time until geography stops making sense.
